Zanzibar is the name of archipelago of islands that lies around 35 km off the coast of mainland Tanzania. The main islands are Unguja (informally known as Zanzibar) and Pemba. There are also several smaller islands such as the Mnemba Atoll, Tumbatu, Chumbe and Changuu (Prison Island). Zanzibar is low-lying, with its highest point being 120m.
