Begin in Arusha, relaxing by the serene Lake Duluti, before flying to the Serengeti for thrilling game drives across the endless plains in search of lions, leopards, elephants, and cheetahs. Experience the vibrant culture of a traditional Maasai Boma, descend into the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, visit the flamingo-filled Lake Manyara, and end with majestic elephants and iconic baobabs in Tarangire. Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport / Arusha – Lake Duluti Serena Hotel
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or enjoy a short walk around Lake Duluti, a beautiful crater lake surrounded by lush forest.
Day 2: Arusha – Flight to Serengeti National Park – Serengeti Sopa Lodge
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to the Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the airstrip and you’ll begin your first exciting game drive in the Serengeti — home to the Big Five and famous for the Great Migration. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti – Serengeti Sopa Lodge
Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti. Early morning and afternoon game drives offer the best opportunities to spot lions, leopards, elephants, and cheetahs. Your guide will take you to prime areas depending on wildlife movements.
Optional: Packed picnic lunch for a full-day adventure or return to the lodge for hot lunch.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Serengeti Sopa Lodge
Enjoy another day in Serengeti with morning and evening game drives. You might explore different regions of the park, such as Seronera Valley, known for its year-round wildlife sightings around the river. In the evening, relax at the lodge and enjoy a beautiful Serengeti sunset.
Day 5: Serengeti – Maasai Boma Visit – Ngorongoro / Karatu – Ngorongoro Farm House
After breakfast, depart Serengeti with an en route game drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you’ll visit a traditional Maasai Boma, where you’ll experience their culture, singing, and traditional dances.
Continue to Karatu, located on the foothills of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Karatu – Ngorongoro Farm House
After early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of Africa. The crater is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool inside the crater before ascending back to the rim and returning to the lodge in Karatu.
Day 7: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Tarangire Sopa Lodge
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and diverse birdlife along the lake shores. Enjoy a morning game drive and later continue to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants.
Day 8: Tarangire – Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport (Departure)
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, capturing the last moments of your Tanzanian safari. Later, drive back to Arusha for a hot lunch, then continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.

4. When is the best time to visit Tanzania for safari?
Safaris are great year-round, but the best wildlife viewing months are June to October. The calving season in Serengeti (January–March) is also a highlight.
5. What should I pack for the safari?
We recommend light clothing, a warm jacket for early mornings, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, and a good camera.
