Day 1: From Arusha to Tarangire
We will drive from Arusha or Moshi – Kilimanjaro and then to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Tarangire is a perfect spot for game viewing and is usually quiet. There are animals like elephants, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, and a wide variety of bird species. You will be transferred to your camp or lodge in Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) for the overnight stay that evening.
Day 2: From Mto wa Mbu to Central Serengeti
On the second day, begin your day by departing for the Central Serengeti via the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Our scenic route will pass along the Ngorongoro rim, and we will stop for a magnificent look at the crater before proceeding to the Serengeti. The Serengeti National Park is one of the world’s seven natural wonders and is known for its spectacular wildebeest migration in Africa. The park is also home to all the big predators and has a fabulous landscape. We will go to our accommodation, and overnight we will stay in central Serengeti.
Day 3: Western Serengeti and back to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, we go to the western Serengeti, also known as the Western Corridor. We will do a game drive from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor area. You will learn about the world’s oldest ecosystem and have the opportunity to witness the spectacular wildebeest migration. After a game dinner in the western corridor, we go for dinner and an overnight stay in the central Serengeti.
Day 4: From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast on this day, we go to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Our drive takes you back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot different animals. As far as the eye can see, you can spot thousands upon thousands of beautiful animals in herds like wildebeests and zebras; leaping antelopes and gazelles; the powerful African elephant; tall and graceful giraffes; and the most feared group of predators. In the evening, dinner and overnight are spent on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha or Moshi
After breakfast, descend into the crater with a lunch box and enjoy the game drive for more than 7 hours. We will start our day by doing an early game drive in the crater. The area is filled with beautiful bird sounds and plenty of fresh air, and the crater harbors animals such as elands, leopards, lions, hippos, buffaloes, cheetahs, and several antelopes. After lunch, we will head to Moshi or Arusha, hence the end of the tour.
