Day 1: Tanzania safari from Arusha or Moshi to Tarangire
On the first day of this best 2 days Tanzania safari, we will depart early in the morning for Tarangire National Park. This park is notable for its unique proliferation of baobab trees and its wide variety of bird species. Tarangire is also famed for its high concentration of elephants, lions, warthogs, cheetahs, giraffes, ostriches, impalas, mongooses, buffaloes, and cheeky baboons, which are frequently seen. Enjoy a full-day game drive in the park, with a picnic lunch stop at noon. In the evening, exit the park and transfer to Mtowambu or Karatu, which is near Lake Ngorongoro, for dinner and an overnight stay at a medium-range lodge or camp.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha or Moshi
After an early breakfast at your camp or lodge on this last day of your 2 days Tanzania safari, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch break at noon.
