Arrival and Transfer to Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the town or relax at your hotel. Then, you'll meet with your operator for a briefing on the Serengeti migration safari.

Day 1: From Arusha to Central Serengeti

On this day after breakfast, you will be picked up from your Arusha hotel and taken to Arusha airport for a short flight (50 minutes) or car (4x4 open roof) to Ndutu Area. Upon arrival, tourists will meet a car driver-guide for a game drive in the Ndutu area to view the magnificent migration safari. Those driving from Arusha to the Serengeti will not get a full game drive. In the evening, we will drive to the camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Central Serengeti to Ndutu Area

Wake up early for breakfast and then embark on a morning game drive in the central Serengeti to see animals as they start their day, including the herds of wildebeest and zebras that make up the Great Migration. After lunch, head south to the Ndutu area, which is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and check into your accommodation.

Day 3: Ndutu full day

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu plains, which is a prime area for game viewing and photographing the Great Migration, as well as other animals like hyenas, jackals, and gazelles. During the day, you can take a picnic lunch and spend time near a watering hole, watching animals come to drink and interact with each other. In the evening, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha

Wake up early for breakfast and check out of your accommodation, and then drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the home to a large concentration of animals, including the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos). Descend into the crater for a game drive and picnic lunch, followed by more wildlife sightings and scenic views. In the late afternoon, start your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the evening to end your safari.
