Day 1: From Arusha Town Moshi to Arusha National Park
On the first day of our 6 days Tanzania safari, we visited Arusha National Park from Moshi Kilimanjaro or Arusha Town. The game drive will pass through the bronzed bush, which is home to waterbucks, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, and gazelles all year round, and along the shores of Lake Momella. There is an opportunity to see the elusive leopards and elephants on a game drive. For the walk, an armed ranger will be with you; he will lead you to the location where you can see the black and white colobus monkeys and guide you through the lush forest up to the crystal waterfall. In the evening, we go back to Arusha Town for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: From Arusha Town to Tarangire to Mto wa Mbu
You will go to Tarangire National Park in the morning from Arusha Town. You can be amazed at the size of the deserted termite mounds and old baobab trees in Tarangire National Park. The first night will be spent in either lodging or extensive camping at Mto wa Mbu.
Day 3: From Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti
On the third day, after you've enjoyed a fantastic breakfast, we'll leave for the Serengeti National Park. We'll eat our picnic lunch on one of the kopjes (rock outcroppings). After lunch, we'll travel to the Serengeti, where you'll be provided with all the camping necessities and a delectable feast.
Day 4: From Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
An early morning in the Serengeti will begin our day. The savannah is a dynamic scene, and as the newly revived dawn begins to illuminate the entire area, the air is filled with the tunes the birds create. Ngorongoro may offer amenities for dinner and overnight stays.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu
We can descend to Ngorongoro Crater shortly after breakfast in the camps or lodges. After the game drive, we will go to Mto wa Mbu, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
Day 6: Lake Manyara and back to Arusha or Moshi
We visit Lake Manyara National Park on our last day. In the afternoon, we are able to enjoy our picnic lunch in the lovely park. In the late afternoon, we'll be able to depart Manyara and travel to Moshi or Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
