Day 2: Maun/ Moremi game reserve/ overnight chef island campsite
In the morning after breakfast, the driver will pick you up from the Hotel and drive you to Moremi game reserve. At Moremi game reserve you will do a game drive where you will get to see a large variety of African game.
Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the central and eastern areas of the Okavango, and includes the Moremi Tongue and chief’s island, boasting one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems on the continent. This makes for spectacular game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region, and over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered. Both Black and White Rhino have recently been re-introduced, now making the reserve a ‘Big Five’ destination.
Dinner and overnight will be at chief’s Island.

Day3: Moremi (Xakanaxa)/ Savuti-Chobe/ savuti
Early in the morning after breakfast you will depart from Moremi and head to chobe via Savuti. En route to Chobe you will have the privilege to view what wild Botswana has to offer in terms of wildlife and landscapes. You will have a game drive at chobe national park before dinner and overnight at Boga Savuti campsite.
Day 4: Savuti/ boat ride chobe/ overnight Kasane
Early in the morning after breakfast you will have a boat ride along the Chobe River. You will have a close up sighting of African game as they quench their thirst on the banks of the river. You also have a high possibility of encountering crocodiles in the river as you cruise. Dinner and overnight at Kasane.
The most accessible and frequently visited of Botswana’s big game country, the Chobe Riverfront is most famous for its large herds of elephants and African Cape buffalo, which during the dry winter months converge upon the river to drink.
During this season, on an afternoon game drive, you may see hundreds of elephants at one time. You may be surrounded by elephants, as the main Serondella road becomes impassable and scores of family herds cross the main road to make their way to the river to drink, bathe and play.
Driving the loops that hug the river’s edge, you may see up to 15 different species of animals on any one game drive, including waterbuck, lechwe, puku (this is the only part of Botswana where they can be seen), giraffe, kudu, roan and sable, impala, warthog, bushbuck, monkeys and baboons, along with the accompanying predators lion, leopard, hyena and jackal.
Take a river cruise – and you’ll experience the park, and the animals, from another vantage point. Here you’ll get up close and personal with hippo, crocodile and a mind-boggling array of water birds.
Over 460 bird species have been recorded in the park, making it one of Africa’s premier venues for bird Safaris. Common species to be seen include the Sacred ibis, Egyptian Geese, the ubiquitous cormorants and darters, Spur-winged Geese, pel’s Fishing Owl, carmine Bee-eaters, most members of the kingfisher family, all the rollers, the unmistakable Fish Eagle, the Martial Eagle, and many members of the stork family.

Day 5: kaseno/ livingstone/Victoria falls
Depart from Kasane early in the morning, cross the border to Zambia and head for Victoria Falls via Livingstone. Victoria Falls is a prime tourist destination where there are several activities that can be done to ensure you have one of the best possible experience.
Activities could range from; bangee jumping off the famous Victoria Falls Bridge in Livingstone. Experience 111 meters of free-fall and 4 seconds of pure adrenalin. Bridge slide is another activity that can be done, enjoy this fun and mildly adventurous Zipline across the Batoka Gorge from the Zambian side, landing up on the Victoria Falls Bridge, whilst providing spectacular views of the mighty waterfalls in high season. Day 6: Livingstone/ lower Zambezi (chirundu/Kiambi)
Early in the morning leave for lower Zambezi National park from Livingstone. You will go through Chirundu Township which will act as your starting point for your safari to the Lower Zambezi National park. You will have a game drive at the park.
UNESCO declared several areas of the Lower Zambezi World Heritage sites, mainly because it is home to a ‘remarkable concentration of wildlife’. Simply put: The Lower Zambezi is famous for its big game. And that is one of the reasons why you want to venture out to this part of Africa. Think: mind-blowing herds of elephants and buffaloes, an impressive population of Nile crocodiles, plus predators such as lions, leopards and the African wild dog. Together with the wildlife, there is the big blue Zambezi River. Flowing gently due to its subtle gradient, it is perfect for canoeing. All this with a backdrop of the majestic Zambezi escarpment that gradually slopes down to meet the river.
Expect some terrific photo-opportunities as enormous herds of elephants, some up to a hundred strong, gather at the Zambezi River’s edge to quench their thirst and splash around. During a canoe trip on the river, you might face ten or more hippos, peeking curiously above the water surface. Also, ‘island hopping’ buffaloes – there are several rocky islands in the Zambezi River – and waterbucks are commonly seen, not to mention prolific birdlife and fishing.

Day 7: lower Zambezi/ Petauke

Day 8: Petauke/ south Luangwa National Park

Day 9: Full Day at South Luangwa

The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life-blood of this 9059 km2 Park. The Park hosts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and vegetation. The now famous ‘walking safari’ originated in this Park and is still one of the finest ways to experience Africa’s pristine wilderness first-hand. The changing seasons add to the Park’s richness, ranging from; dry, bare bushveld in the winter, to a lush, green wonderland in the summer months. There are 60 different animal species and over 400 different bird species in South Luangwa National Park. The only notable exception is the rhino, sadly poached to extinction.

Day 10: full day game drive at South Luangwa

Day 12: South Luangwa/isoka
Early in the morning after breakfast leave South Luangwa for Isoka Township. In the evening you will arrive at Isoka where you will dine and have an overnight.

Day 13: Isoka/ Ruaha National Park/ overnight at Ruaha River Lodge
Very early in the morning depart for Ruaha Naional Park from Isoka. The long drive will get you to the Ruaha River lodge (http://www.ruahariverlodge.com/) in the evening where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Full day game drive at Ruaha National park
After breakfast you will go on a game drive around the Ruaha national Park.
The park is one of the Tanzania birds’ paradise with more than 571species and some of them are known to be migrants from within and outside Africa.
Ruaha is believed to have high concentration of elephants than any National Park in East Africa. It is also a place where, magnificent mammals like Kudu, Sable and Roan antelopes can easily be spotted in Miombo woodland. The park is also a habitat for endangered wild dogs. Other animals in the park include lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffes, zebras, elands, impala, bat eared foxes and Jackals.
Apart from large animals, the park also harbors a number of reptiles and amphibians such as crocodiles, poisonous and non-poisonous snakes, monitor lizards, agama lizards and frogs
The park is characterized by semi-arid type of vegetation, baobab trees, Acacia and other species. There are over 1,650 plant species that have been identified.

Day 15: Ruaha national park/Iringa/Dodoma
From Ruaha National park you will drive to Dodoma the capital of Tanzania via Iringa Township. You will have dinner and overnight at Morena hotel (http://www.morenahotel.com/) or saint Gasper Hotel (http://www.stgasparhotel.co.tz/)

Day 16: Dodoma/ Tarangire
Early in the morning depart from Dodoma to Tarangire, where en route to the campsite you will do a game drive of the park. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire campsite.
Before the rains, droves of gazelles, wildebeests, zebras, and giraffes migrate to Tarangire National Park’s scrub plains where the last grazing land still remains. Tarangire offers an unparalleled game viewing, and during the dry season elephants abound. Families of the pachyderms play around the ancient trunks of baobab trees and strip acacia bark from the thorn trees for their afternoon meal. Breathtaking views of the Maasai Steppe and the mountains in the south make a stopover at Tarangire a memorable experience.
Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed.
During the rainy season, the seasonal visitors scatter over a 20,000 sq. km (12,500 sq. miles) range until they exhaust the green plains and the river calls once more. But Tarangire’s mobs of elephant are easily encountered, wet or dry. The swamps, tinged green year around, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the world.

Day 17: Tarangire / Ngorongoro/ overnight at Karatu
Early in the morning after breakfast have a game drive at Tarangire National Park. The game drive will be done for half of the day before you embark on a drive to Ngorongoro. In the evening you will have dinner and overnight at Flamingo campsite at Karatu.

Day 18: Ngorongoro/ overnight at seronera
In the morning descend down the crater where you will have a game drive around the crater floor. It is quite an interesting exhilarating experience. In the afternoon you will drive to Seronera where you will have dinner and an overnight at Nguchiro campsite.
Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’, the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World’. A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a “Noah’s Ark” of animals on the verdant floor below. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Nowhere else can such a diversity in wildlife be experienced in such a short period of time.

Day 19: Seronera/ full day at Serengeti
In the morning you will embark on a game drive around the mighty Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Nguchiro campsite.
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, the Serengeti Park is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves point the open plains. The sight of the migration is truly breathtaking as
Untold herds of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras seek out permanent water holes and are followed shortly by their predators. These vast plains are also home year round to the Big Five, making the camp the perfect vantage point for any game viewing and well worth a visit at any time of year.

Day 20: Seronera/ Lake Manyara National Park
Leave for Manyara early in the morning from Seronera. On arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, you will do a game drive in the park, before dinner and overnight at Fanaka lodge and campsite.
Contrasting with the intimacy of the forest is the grassy floodplain and its expansive views eastward, across the alkaline lake, to the jagged blue volcanic peaks that rise from the endless Maasai Steppes. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds congregate on these grassy plains, as do giraffes – some so dark in coloration that they appear to be black from a distance.
Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Squadrons of banded mongoose dart between the acacias, while the diminutive Kirk’s dik-dik forages in their shade. Pairs of klipspringer are often seen silhouetted on the rocks above a field of searing hot springs that steams and bubbles adjacent to the lakeshore in the far south of the park.

Day 21: Lake Manyara/ Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast you will proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will board your flight back home.
