What makes this safari special is the fact that instead of game drives around the park, guests will get to tour the park on foot and enjoy all that the park has to offer in terms of wildlife and landscape.
The safari brings about a different scope and sense of adventure where you get to experience the wild without the safety or enclosures of your vehicles. it definitely brings about a different dimension in the whole safari experience that should be very memorable.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park/ Tarangire
You will have an early breakfast, then you will have our driver cum guide drive you south to Tarangire National Park. On arrival at Tarangire, there are no fixed lodges in the area and we make use of a light weight camp that will have all the creature comforts you need for a very comfortable stay in the wilderness. You will spend the night at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 4: Tarangire
Wake up early and enjoy a morning bush walk and a steep but manageable climb to the top of a nearby mountain. After descent and lunch, you continue by car to our next camp. Today's drive will take you through some very remote Maasai settlements. You will visit the Maasai chief of the area and pay our respects.
You will arrive at the camp in time for a nice afternoon walk inside Tarangire National Park. Here you will start your walk along the African wildlife. This area is very good for herbivores (plant eaters) and you stand a good chance of seeing giraffes, impalas, dik diks and many more. You will follow the footsteps and trails left behind by animals walking to and from watering holes. During the next few days you will walk in the paths of the animals and get the ultimate experience in all dimensions and get a taste of the day to day life of the African wildlife.
Day 5: Tarangire
Today will be an easy full day walk. You will cover approximately 14km on flat ground. You will depart from the camp early in the morning, and follow game trails past various water holes. The aim of being on foot is to be quiet and feel connected with the bush without the physical obstruction a vehicle brings. We will be quiet as we wander through the bush and will focus on smaller animals such as birds, insects, plants and tracks. Saying this, there is always a chance that we will encounter larger mammals and for this reason you will be guided by an extremely well trained and armed guide.
You will get to the camp for a late lunch and enjoy the rest of the afternoon in and around camp. This camp is situated about 1km behind the waterholes. Over the years we have located a few vantage points from where we can quietly view animals coming down to the water to drink without disturbing them. During full moon evenings it is possible to view animals moving down to the waters’ edge from camp.
Day 6: Tarangire
Being the only water source in a very large area, the water holes serve both the large mammals small mammals and birds. Another very special moment is to quietly sit next to the water holes and have hundreds of thousands of doves and sand grouse come to drink. The sky is filled with the sounds thousands of wings.
After a nice breakfast back in camp you set off by car to your next destination; another set of waterholes more towards the center of the park. Today you half walk half drive to the camp on the bank of the Tarangire River.
Day 7 Tarangire
After a scrumptious breakfast you can enjoy a short morning walk to Olivers Camp a few kilometers up the river. This beautiful camp is situated in the remote southeastern reaches of the park. you will enjoy the pampering of this luxury lodge with their great staff and delicious meals.
Day 8: Tarangire/ Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport
In the morning after breakfast you will leave Tarangire and head for Arusha. En route you will have a short game drive before you hit the road to Arusha. You will have a short stop at Arusha, then head to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will board a plane back home.
