On your 1-Day Mid-Range Safari in Tanzania, the journey begins with an early departure from Arusha between 07:00 AM and 08:00 AM. You must be within 10 kilometers of the city center to be picked up for transport. The drive takes you through the scenic Tanzanian countryside to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast herds of over 3,000 elephants and its distinctive landscape dotted with towering baobab trees. As you explore the park, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, and over 550 species of birds. The park’s diverse ecosystems offer an excellent opportunity to witness wildlife in their natural habitat, making it a memorable safari experience. In the evening, after an exciting day in Tarangire, you’ll head to the town of Mto wa Mbu / Lake Manyara, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable lodge or camp. This marks the end of your first day in Tanzania, setting the stage for more adventures the next day.

Day 2 : Lake Manyara ( Mto wa Mbu) to Ngorongoro Crater and Back to Arusha

The 2-day Ngorongoro Crater Group Mid-Range Safari in Tanzania begins with an early departure from Mto wa Mbu / Lake Manyara at 8:30 AM. You’ll head towards the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the caldera, home to a rich variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. You’ll also spot zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles. The crater is a haven for birdwatchers, boasting over 500 bird species. After a thrilling day of game drives and panoramic views, you’ll leave the Ngorongoro Crater in the late afternoon. The journey back to Arusha offers scenic landscapes, giving you time to reflect on your unforgettable experiences.
