You must be within 10 kilometers of the city center to be picked up for transport. As you explore the park, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, and over 550 species of birds. In the evening, after an exciting day in Tarangire, you’ll head to the town of Mto wa Mbu / Lake Manyara, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable lodge or camp. You’ll head towards the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, you’ll descend into the caldera, home to a rich variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. You’ll also spot zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles. The crater is a haven for birdwatchers, boasting over 500 bird species. After a thrilling day of game drives and panoramic views, you’ll leave the Ngorongoro Crater in the late afternoon. The journey back to Arusha offers scenic landscapes, giving you time to reflect on your unforgettable experiences.
