Terms & Conditions – Parks Adventure Limited

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, tours, and services provided by Parks Adventure Limited (“the Company”). By confirming a booking, the client (“you”) agrees to these terms.


1. Booking & Reservation

  1. A booking is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from Parks Adventure Limited.

  2. To secure a reservation, a deposit of 30–50% of the total tour cost is required unless otherwise agreed.

  3. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour start date.

  4. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require 100% full payment.


2. Payments

  1. Payments can be made via:

    • Bank transfer

    • Online payment platforms

    • Cash (USD or TZS)

  2. All bank charges or transfer fees must be covered by the client.

  3. The Company reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment deadlines are not met.


3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

By the Client

  • 60+ days before departure: 90% refund (10% admin fee)

  • 31–59 days before departure: 70% refund

  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund

  • 0–14 days before departure: No refund

Non-refundable items such as permits, hotel deposits, flights, and park fees will not be refunded.

By the Company

The Company may cancel a tour due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., weather, political unrest, safety risks).
Clients will be offered:

  • An alternative date, or

  • A full refund excluding non-recoverable costs.


4. Amendments to Itineraries

  1. Requests to change travel dates or itineraries will be accommodated when possible.

  2. Additional costs resulting from changes will be borne by the client.

  3. The Company reserves the right to adjust routes, accommodations, or activities for safety, seasonal conditions, or operational reasons.


5. Pricing

  1. All prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise.

  2. Prices may be adjusted due to unexpected increases in taxes, park fees, fuel prices, or exchange rate fluctuations.

  3. Quoted prices do not include personal expenses unless specified.


6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Ensure they have a valid passport, visas, travel insurance, and required vaccinations.

  • Follow all instructions from guides and respect wildlife and park regulations.

  • Inform the Company of any medical conditions, dietary needs, or disabilities prior to travel.

The Company is not responsible for issues arising from failure to disclose such information.


7. Travel Insurance

  1. Comprehensive travel insurance is highly recommended.

  2. Insurance should cover medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and lost belongings.

  3. The Company is not liable for any costs arising from lack of insurance coverage.


8. Health & Safety

  1. Clients participate in activities at their own risk.

  2. Parks Adventure Limited ensures vehicles and equipment are properly maintained.

  3. The Company and its staff reserve the right to refuse service to any client posing a danger to themselves or others.


9. Accommodation

  1. Accommodation is provided as per the selected itinerary.

  2. In case of unavailability, hotels/lodges of similar or higher standard will be provided.

  3. Check-in and check-out times follow hotel policies.


10. Transportation

  1. Safari vehicles are allocated based on group size and itinerary.

  2. In case of mechanical breakdowns, the Company will provide an alternative vehicle as soon as possible.

  3. Seat allocation within vehicles is not guaranteed.


11. Wildlife Viewing

  1. Wildlife sightings are based on nature and cannot be guaranteed.

  2. Guides always strive for the best experience but must prioritize safety and park rules.


12. Liability & Force Majeure

Parks Adventure Limited is not liable for:

  • Delays, injuries, loss, or damage due to natural disasters, weather, war, strikes, or government actions

  • Loss of personal belongings

  • Personal injuries caused by negligence of a third party (e.g., hotel, airline)

Force Majeure events include but are not limited to: floods, pandemics, political unrest, road closures, or any events beyond the Company’s control.


13. Complaints

Complaints must be reported immediately to the guide or Company representative so that corrective actions can be taken.
Complaints submitted after the trip will be reviewed but may not qualify for compensation.


14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The United Republic of Tanzania.


15. Acceptance

By confirming a booking with Parks Adventure Limited, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
