Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive in Arusha, the safari hub of Tanzania. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the city or relax at your hotel. We recommend choosing accommodation within 10 km of the city center for easy pickup the next morning.
If desired, we can arrange a private hotel stay for you.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha or Moshi. Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its enormous elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
Enjoy a full-day game drive as you explore river valleys and open woodlands where lions, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species thrive.
In the late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive in the lush groundwater forest. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, and diverse birdlife.
Continue the journey through the Ngorongoro highlands toward Serengeti, arriving for an afternoon game drive in the endless plains.
Settle into your campsite and enjoy dinner surrounded by Serengeti’s wilderness.

Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti’s abundant wildlife. Early morning is perfect for spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the hunt.
Explore various sectors of the park—central, western, or northern plains depending on wildlife movements.
Return to your campsite in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Begin the morning with another game drive as you make your way out of Serengeti. Enjoy sightings of elephants, zebras, giraffes, and big cats.
After breakfast/brunch, drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim by late afternoon.
Enjoy dinner and spectacular views overlooking the crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. This stunning natural amphitheater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five in a single day, including the rare black rhino.
Enjoy a game drive across forests, grasslands, and the hippo-filled lake before stopping for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot.
Afterward, ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the evening.

4. When is the best time to visit Tanzania for safari?
Safaris are great year-round, but the best wildlife viewing months are June to October. The calving season in Serengeti (January–March) is also a highlight.

5. What should I pack for the safari?
We recommend light clothing, a warm jacket for early mornings, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, and a good camera.

6. Is the safari suitable for families or seniors?
Absolutely. We tailor the pace, activities, and accommodation to fit families with children or seniors who prefer a more relaxed experience.
